Date Night Happy Hours in RVA

Want to treat your boo thang to a nice meal but don’t want to break the bank? Happy hour is a great way to try the fancier side of Richmond without killing your whole paycheck on one meal. Here are some of our favorite happy hours for your next date night:

The Boathouse

Church Hill-Rockett’s Landing, Short Pump-Innsbrook, Brandermill-Woodlake

Wednesday-Friday from 4-6:00 PM

A city stalwart with quality seafood and excellent views (at the Rocket’s Landing & Sunday Park locations). Each day during happy hour there’s a different rotating food special, so you can sample the fare without making a big commitment (let’s save that for your date 😍 ).

Near West End

Monday-Friday from 2-5:00 PM

Serving up Greek food your Yaya would be proud of, Stella’s is a Richmond fav with a happy hour you’ll want to leave work early for. Let’s just hope the flames between you and your date last longer than the ones on the saganaki.

Shockoe Bottom/Slip

Tuesday-Friday from 5-7:00 PM

If wine is more your person’s thing, Bateau is the way to go. This Shockoe Slip bistro located right along the canal has a massive selection of wine that is discounted during happy hour. Pro tip: If you’re really looking to knock it out of the park with your sweetheart, go on a Tuesday or Friday when they have live jazz from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Blue Atlas

Church Hill-Rockett’s Landing

Wednesday-Saturday from 3-5:30 PM

Set the mood with drinks overlooking the city at Blue Atlas in Fulton Hill. Show your date your adventurous side with their delicious & eclectic mix of international foods, with select options discounted during happy hour.
